The five-star Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort in Paliouri, Chalkidiki (Greece) is breaking new ground in design and environmental protection. It has more than  300 luxurious rooms and suites, a thalasso and spa centre, 48 private pools and 3 community pools, 5 restaurants and six bars,a childcare facility, a conference centre, an amphitheatre, and one marina for up to 81 boats.  

 

The iconic masterplan has been developed in 9 levels by DLP Architects & the Interior Design carried out by TAKA+PARTNERS.

 

The Architectural team of TAKA+PARTNERS where George was involved as Associate - Sr. Design Architect was honoured by the German Design Council in 2019 (German Design Award Special 2019) & by the International Property Awards as the Best European Hotel Interior in Greece in 2018.

 The construction and operation of the complex focused on minimizing the impact of the resort on the environment. The most important “green” feature of the project is the combined system of geothermal energy, energy recovery, and potable water production, which was realized thanks to aquatherm blue pipe and aquatherm green pipe.

 

 Additionally there is a floating sauna in the marina offering guests the chance to jump directly into the sea for a cool down. There are also Rasul mud treatments, Herbal Sauna, Flotation & Hydrotherapy Beds, KNEIPP Baths, Water Jet treatments, and three swimming pools with sea and thermal water.

 

MYRTHIA Thermal Spa (3000 sq.mt. - on two levels) On the ground floor there is a reception, dressing rooms with personal lockers. Large thalasso heated seawater pool with 17 hydro jets, second infinity thalasso pool, 3 thermal pools with geothermal water of different temperatures, Myrthia Health Bar. Thermal Well Life Suite for use before spa treatments: hammam, Finnish sauna, 2 sensory showers, cold dipping to improve blood circulation, herbal sauna, tepidarium fitness and motion zone with modular devices for body resistance (to improve health and endurance). Beauty Salon - hair care, manicure, pedicure).

 

On the second floor - Wellness Spa Area and VIP treatment suites and classrooms. Thalasso baths, spa suites - Rasul, Jacuzzi.
